The power and flexibility of an EC Series deployment become even more
apparent as the system grows.
EC Controllers and devices can be located anywhere on the network, so customers immediately see economies of scale by sharing EC Controllers across rooms. The ability to easily share devices like video codecs and matrix switches makes for greater efficiency and economy. Every room can have access to high-value devices without shuttling expensive equipment from room to room. EC Series lets the network do the heavy lifting.
EC Series products are powerful computing platforms and a natural extension the network. Software applications, databases and digital media are all seamlessly accessible. Being native to the PC environment and open standards, Pacific's approach ensure that new communications and presentation products will integrate smoothly and easily. And IT departments quickly understand and embrace EC Series open, building block approach, especially since it fits in so well with the tools and practices they are already familiar

- In this example, EC Controller runs device control agents and provides device communcations services.
EC Server provides enhanced storage, fault tolerance and extra communications
services for multiple rooms and multiple user interfaces.
Each room is identical in this scenario and as many as 50 rooms could be aded without the need for additional EC Controllers.
Adding rooms requires no additional programming. Just a simple
configuration change and the new room is online and ready to go.
Each room runs an identical user interafce that can be maintained and stored in a central location for easy access and effortless, system-wide updates.
Because any device can reside anywhere on the network, sharing devices such as
large video codecs is not only cost effective, it doesn't require special
hardware or programming.
